For a healthy working engine, the air and fuel mixture must be at an optimum level. When the air and fuel ratio is wrong, it causes results such as low performance, high fuel consumption, overheating, spark plug failure. Air adjustment is very important in carburetors in order to have the correct ratio of air and fuel.

How did u get the carb strew cover off?

There was no cover on the screw on my carb but if you havd a rubber cover on the screw you can get the cover off with a flat head screwdriver by pulling form the edge
