TRIP!! Great to see ya on here! That thing sure is a beaut. Long way from the kayak fishing days.

I hear a lot of people talk poorly of the FSH series but anyone who owns them loves it. You can’t find many on the used market. I’m between a 25ft used Robalo or a new FSH 255 sport H. Can’t make a decision
@TLSRiderGaming13 күн бұрын
You will see haters no matter where ya go. Best thing I would suggest is get a sea trial on both models of interest, and make your choice based off that.

I’m still debating. I have the same hull on the wake series, but my concern would be how it would do in heavy chop. That bow looks like you could stuff it quite easily is sporty conditions. I think it may also be too light for offshore.
@bearclub83343 ай бұрын
I also have the 255 wake. This hull is slightly different, but not sure if it makes much of a difference.

It’s a 100k fully loaded with electronics and trailer and people are upset it doesn’t come with trolling motors and armrests 🤦

@@mattgauvin7842 this is a thing of beauty. I think the FSH Sport H is the top of the line, so really, anything under this line of boats is fantastic and a value steal under 100k

It’s a 115k.

I live in the Florida keys. Would this be a good boat to go to the sandbar with the family. I don’t really fish but would like to go out with the fam and hang out at the sandbars around here. I would have it in a lift over the canal in my house.
@BoatTEST3 ай бұрын
Yes, absolutely! This boat is perfect for that. You can customize it to what you like, and what you need.

i would love to get this due to the rear swim platform but not being able to keep it in salt water for 3-4 days on a fl keys week trip is a dealbreaker for me. i mean i guess you would just have to trailer it out more often to flush the engines but that sounds like a hassle if you have a dock or boat slip
@mvcharisma7 ай бұрын
There are shutoff valves that you can install on the raw water intake side so you can close off the raw water intake, and use the flushing ports while flushing the engines in a marina. I do this on my Yamaha, there are videos on KZbin on how to install them. Parts are under $50

Why can't you keep it in the water? It's built for salt water. 3-4 days wont be a concern at all
@usqloft85335 ай бұрын
you can absolutely keep it in salt water. some do 30 days in water take out salt away flush power wash hull. it's fine. as long as your using it and it's not just sitting.

A nice add for this boat would be a windlass anchor. Otherwise it seems like a great solution for fishing and family. Also do those fresh and raw water outlets have covers? Seems like you might run into them if they stick out like that all the time.

Is there a way to upgrade the helm seat with some arm rests? Also, the brown interior is so old looking....

Due to technical difficulties we couldn't get the data- but plan to update our model page once we get them. Sorry about that, but will reach out once we get a chance to get back on the boat.
@Tevon937 ай бұрын
My guess is they intentionally left it out because the SVHO engines in this boat drink fuel. It’s probably around 1.8 mpg at best cruise and that’s being generous.

I Have the 2024 252 with the 1.9’s. They are very smooth and don’t seem to be as loud as the outgoing 1.8’s. Still not fully broken in yet and I hit 47mph with 70% fuel and two adults and 2 kids. Been a great boat so far.

No trolling motor or power poles, otherwise looks great. What's the draft. I own a jet boat and prop boat. I love the jet the most. No worried about hitting things with prop, safer for kids.
Has electrical hookups for the trolling motor in the bow.

I can’t seem to find fuel info on the 255 FSH sport H w/the superchargers. Someone mentioned on another review that it requires higher octane gas? Not concerned about price, but more so availability on smaller lakes. Is something over 90 ethanol free gas required?
@johnpoole23255 ай бұрын
For those who see this and are interested, manual clearly states 91 octane pump rating on the 255.
