Unboxing and checking out a new Yamaha A3M acoustic guitar. I go over a few of the details about the guitar/case and play a little bit to showcase the sound of this beautiful instrument. Just got this exact model after watching this. Your description of the fingerboard and neck - "the fingerboard is ebony. The neck feels... stunning" sold it tbh. It plays absolutely amazing basically out the box.

Same colour as my ac3m. Didn't need a setup when it arrived, and plays beautifully. I sometimes play mine through my chorus pedal and with the mic and a little reverb you can get a beautiful sound. Yamaha make some really good guitars for the money. Enjoy 😉

I just bought a yamaha guitar a few weeks ago. It isn't solid wood back and sides. I did play I think it was a 5a because it came with a very nice hardshell case. However, the electronics weren't working correctly. I also had a martin d18 with solid mahogany back and sides already. I decided to get a little cheaper model with solid spruce top and laminate rosewood back and sides. I got the guitar, case, and nice leather strap for only $900. I sold a takamine guitar that I had for a while to get the guitar. I really like how it plays and it sounds great. I had the man at my local music store put a set of medium gauge Elixir phosphor bronze strings on my guitar and they sound amazing. I will need to make a recording of the guitar and put it up for people to hear. Until I can save up for a martin hd28, this will do very nicely.

i have a Yamaha FGX800C Natural i think iam gana buy another Yamaha they sound good i play a lot of Sierreño music and it does the job takamines are so expensive

Might help if you tuned it, and might improve tone with 12s on it. But compared to other demos yours sounds thin and buzzy.

I bought this model and I regret it. I bought it on the playability which is great but it is tinny and jangly miced or plugged in. The bass response is crap.

Wow. You got a lemon. I just got this used and it does exactly what I wanted it to do. I have a Guild D50 to compare all my acoustics to. The body is smaller than the D50 so the bass isn't as pronounced but the highs really shine. Good luck with your future purchases.

Unusual. Yamaha electronics are usually pretty good. These guitars sound amazing acousticly though. I would like to own one, but I have enough guitars at the minute.
