I'm researching the apx600. There's a guy who talked about budget gtar makers adjusting the neck just enough so that the gtar is playable, but when the fret wears down, it no longer is. Was that you who said that? I'm trying to find the exact quote.

the next tho is does lower the strings a bit its not the only thing that needs to be done but sometimes an adjustment of the next is all you need to make sure your frets are not buzzing or dead.once frets are worne out you can replace them but on guitars under say 500 do it your self if your guitar is wotth well over 500 + then have it done by a pro unless you know what your doing and have all the tools to do it right , and doing it your self on cheap guitars is how you learn to do it your self.. to get pro at it the only guitars i wont touch my self are those with a bound fret board with thoes each fret is precision made 1 at a time as they have to be perfect as they go it and thats a royal pain and i dont have the paticaints for that my self
