The process was a little different for my model V379 Yamaha receiver. I had to hit blutooth on the remote then hold “memory” on front of the receiver for 3 sec then it finally popped up for me. Hope it helps

Is this to pair a Bluetooth INPUT like a phone that transmits Bluetooth or Bluetooth OUTPUT like AirPods to listen to the Bluetooth transmitted from the Yamaha receiver?

I just updated the firmware on my Yamaha TSR-5830. I don't see the Disconnect or Pairing options in Options for BT. And, when I press/hold the Memory button, it seems to just want to save into memory spots. It doesn't enter pairing mode. Are you instructions still accurate with the latest Yamaha firmware?

Hi, I have Yamaha RX-V485. I am facing a issue where Receiver doesn't connect to the router in the 'wired' mode at all. It does connect to the router in the 'wireless' mode, but the connection is unstable. I have done some basic checks, such as faulty cable, router ports, etc. All seem fine as other devices, when connected, do not have any issue. Any thoughts what could be the issue and how can I fix it? Thank you.

Hi I have a Yamaha RX-V485/RX-D485/HTR-4072 - its states that Bluetooth is on but the Audio Receive (white writing) shows disconnect (light grey writing) - what do I need to do to make it so I can connect a set of Bluetooth headset?

Thank you for explaining, I have a rx-v483, will connect to l phone & play audio, but when I scroll down to device search, it says not a available, even tho transmitter is on. Follow up: did a firmware update and it fixed that problem. Just need to find out now how to control the blue tooth connected speakers with the main volume

Do you know how to get the receiver to control volume of whatever is sent to bluetooth headphones from the receiver? I can only get the bluetooth headphones to control volume, and sometimes the loudest volume isnt loud enough.

I have the same RX-V385 and disconnect is not in that menu? Other selections you scrolled through are but not disconnect. Have any idea why they took it away? I am setting it up new out of the box.

Doesn't work on recent but older models. You need to go to the setup menu, functions and PAIRING if my memory serves me correctly.

Mums got a crx-b370 and it's fine to pair new devices but reconnecting later is a pain. Sorry to say your vid didn't quite solve the issue. Not sure how manufacturers screw this stuff up

Doesnt work. When I press memory it just saves bluetooth to memory 1. It increments each time I try.

Once you are on the Bluetooth input then look for a button on your console that says 'Connect'. At least on Yamaha 7850 there's one. Hold that down for 3 seconds or so then you should see the receiver as a device to connect to on your phone for example.
