I really like this machine, mine didn't have the demo or samples on the hard disk. I have used it to produce multi-track recordings and found that with a bit of effort it really is a powerful machine. In many ways it is easier to use this than use a DAW. It's just a pity it is too old to have a USB output, although I found it not too diffucult to export a whole song to a CD and import each individual track to my PC.

Thanks for posting. I've just bought one of these, it should arrive next week. This should help me get started with it.

I have one too, Im about ready to chuck it out a window. I dont wanna use any of thd sampler bullshit. I wanna be able to record regular individual instrument tracks through it.

For me the learning curve was insane on this machine. Once I was in business it was actually pretty fun to use, although still a shitload of tedious button pushing. Great quality product though.

Thank you so much. This really helped. I was gonna buy the new korg 3200 but i went yamaha instead. 16 less tracks i could deal with 32 is too much 4 me

I have one of these, an earlier model with no USB out. I like it, and produced 5 CD's with it. Not perfect, and a bit tricky at times, but it's a good piece of equipment.

I bought this when it first came out for £1000 and found the lerning curve very steep indeed, there wasnt much help at the time, a forum 'AWG Inspire' but not much good. I found compressing the vocals a nightmare to get the volume. I used an AKG C300 and a preamp. Still struggled. I only produced one CD and gave up. Still have the machine today. It's a shame I didnt stick to it.

Anyone also having problems with knobs / buttons not working? Please let me know if there is a fix for this. Now channel 1 button is not working and arrow up button. Help 😄, great machine

I bought one from eBay with that problem, but a must say I'm an electronic technician. Buttons must be replaced but you can try to poor some contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol over the buttons and push several times. Also, watch the solder side for bad contact/solder. Not to mention you need to know how to disassembly the unit properly.
