Brad, sounds like motor mount is broken. Small screw type right between primary clutch and engine. That's why clutch is touching the guard and making grinding noise under load. Super cheap and simple fix.

Did you ever find out if it was the clutch or the motor mount was causing the clanking noise?
@coreynorman4531 Жыл бұрын
Could be starter rope is a bit too short and you are hearing the starting assembly

Badass Welding Videos Those enticers are a blast! The rattling sound under the hood in this video was the clutch starting to go, but other than that she runs like a dream. Crazy light too!

I had a 1992 BR 250 long track new ,I blew the engine 3 times in 2 seasons the suspension is like non existing 3gal fuel tank the cooling fins on the engine are about an inch long so the engine overheats above zero, and if you go in deep powder you have to close shut the baffle at the front so the cab does not fill with snow, if you would ride on bare ice or hard spring crust the sliders sticks and your top speed is about 30khr, then I bought a tundra LT 1995 and what a machine compare to the bravo, a 277cc that cruses up to 90khr a very good suspension longer track, longer fins on the engine that I never had overheating problem, I still own one to this day and it is the most reliable machine I ever had

You must be doing something wrong . The Yamaha Bravo is probably one of the most reliable snowmobiles ever made. They have been proven to average 20,000 km . with the original piston / rings .
@anicekid3 ай бұрын
Your thinking of the tundra 2, the tundra and bravo are almost identical in speed and reliability and Torque
@PJ-si2po3 ай бұрын
@@anicekid my bravo had a speedometer and the fastest was approximately 75k per hour, on my Tundra-R 2000 I had installed a speedometer and on a lake on bare ice I could go around 90k per hour The Tundra-II and Tundra-R both have the 277cc engine that definitely have more power than the 250 cc from Yamaha
