Thanks for actually showing how to install the concave washer. By the way, where did you get the nuts for your variator and clutch?

I picked them up here, but they are currently sold out. xf50moto.bigcartel.com/product/yamaha-c3-vox-giggle-titanium-hardware

Nice update! I just installed polini variator 241.746. Came with 4.9g rollers. It improved takeoff alot. I'm still in the high 30s on flat and hit a rev limiter at 45 downhill. Time to play with shims and or cdi

Nice, the acceleration was the biggest improvement I noticed too! I installed my Beast Mode tuner already just for the rev-limiter delete, but didn't touch the tuner, I'll mess with the tuning once I finally get around to doing the BBK.

I been doing alot work on my 07 Piaggio mp3 250ie I purchased it use about 3 years ago and I put all new Variator kit and Dr. pulley slider 21x17 12g & new belt, rebuild the clutch and now greases all the bearings! Only problem I having trouble with how to grease column steering bearings on it! Mr. Mikes
@MikesMiniMotors2 жыл бұрын
Hopefully you can grease them without having to fully disassemble it! That's the bikenwith two front wheels, right?

My big boy kit didn't come with Dr pulley sliders 🤔
@MikesMiniMotors2 жыл бұрын
The contents of the kit has changed recently. The sliders may have been added when the up gear kit changed to the Malossi variator in the kit.

Never ridden or seen one of these so know VERY little. Have a guy willing to sell me one for 400 bucks. Starts and runs perfect BUT it does not move. He says his daughter dropped it and that was the end. I know this is SUPER vague but his mechanic said it "should be an easy fix". Do the belts go south on these? Could it need a whole new setup like what you put in? Tight on cash but want something for my son and know it'll be a gamble no matter what. Just trying to limit that gamble.

Wow, $400 sounds like a pretty good deal if the bike runs and has a title! It’s would be really hard to tell you what’s wrong, but parts can be picked up for these bikes fairly cheap. You don’t have to go with the higher performance parts and can get standard parts to save some money.

Hey Mike - what was the tool you used to get the flat nut off the clutch?
@MikesMiniMotors Жыл бұрын
I used this guy: www.rollingwrenchdenver.com/products/gy6-cutch-pulley-nut-socket?_pos=1&_sid=77bf8f9bc&_ss=r&sca_ref=2317757.Ut0lWw890q

Was the nut on the clutch a 39mm or 41mm?
@MikesMiniMotors Жыл бұрын
It’s been a while since I did it, but I believe it was 39mm.
