Phill, thank you so much for another great video. As this keyboard's internal electronics and firmware are very similar to the Yamaha SX600, I just wish that they had included a Mod Wheel and an Arpeggiator on the DGX670 which they then could have marketed as the SX600 88 key version but then I'm sure it would have become a much more expensive instrument and not the great bargain that it currently is, today.

Hey Robert! Thanks as always for your viewership and great ideas. 100% agree 😊 Yamaha are like "you want a mod wheel?" That will be just a couple hundred dollars and a bit of change 😂 They know what they're doing!! 😑

Phill, I just discovered today a work around for the lack of a Mod Wheel which I don't know if you are aware of? It involves attaching an Auxiliary Pedal to your Aux Port on the back of the keyboard and then if you select Menu followed by Controller you are presented with a list where you can Select your Aux Pedal by pressing Enter and then by using your 1&2 buttons (located under your Screen Display) you will be presented with a list of items that can be Assigned to the Aux Pedal one of which is Modulation that can then be Selected and Entered. Lastly you can Save your Aux Pedal Modulation Setting to one of the four available Registration Memory Banks to retain your setting. Definitely not as good as having a dedicated Mod Wheel but a solution for triggering Modulation on the DGX670.

Thank you. I don't use my full gigging system for this. For recording, I use headphones and go directly into the PC using USB Audio. For external playing, I go with a simple Behringer combo. K450FX kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJa4ZWuopJqYqKs

Hi Phil...I would like to know how's the DGX speakers?? Does it produce good sound quality of a CFX grand?
@phillc4 ай бұрын
Personally, I love the sound and I listen to my Spotify music streaming through the speakers using bluetooth, but depending on how loud you like your music, you may need something louder. Personally I find it sufficient but others have said when continuously maxed out, some buzz and tremor could result.

Oh so you *can* plug your guitar even though it lacks a dedicated switch for the mic input like the SX700 and up,
@phillc8 ай бұрын
Yes indeed you can! 😊💯 It does have a Mic 🎤 input which I just converted to my own purpose 😁 but yes, you are correct...it does NOT have a fancy switch like the PSR-SX 700 and 900 👍 purposely for guitar vs mic.
