Lovely! I love my DX7. It has such an amazing almost analog gritty warmthness to it that I just love. Love the keybed too, one of the best that were ever made. Thank you for posting this Milo!

The DX7 is very “crunchy” and almost harsh whereas something like the OB-Xa is very “warm” and “fuzzy.” I find analog synths far more versatile as it’s easy to make the sounds on the DX7 sound tacky but clever patch selection can bring out some of the DX7’s beauty (the glassy, crystalline bell like sounds it can produce are to this day excellent and it’s fine for some ambient synth textures here and there wouldn’t use it for any orchestral synthesis or anything)
