The battery inside the DX7 seems to be dead. Replace as soon as possible. Old batteries can leak and damage the circuit board. The battery seems to be soldered directly to the main board, and unfortunately it takes some soldering experience to remove it. Personally, I recommend replacing the old battery with a holder so that it only needs to be soldered once. Future batteries can be replaced without soldering. I hope this is helpful. Congratulations on your DX7-II! It is truly a great synthesizer!

Thank you for the valuable information !! I thought it was necessary to replace the battery. I didn't know any information about solder, so it's very helpful !!

I'm happy to help! Upon further research, it seems the RAM cartridge also has a battery inside.

@@MelonadeM The RAM cartridge also seemed to be out of order. It seems that formatting is not possible. RAM cartridges also have batteries ! It will take some time to fully revive it. I will try it while checking ! Thank you !

Aww, that's bad... Anyway, that glitchy sound is pretty unnusual to generate in a non-broken synth, you may record it and use it as SFX 👀

At first, I thought this broken sound was a preset tone. It might be interesting to use this !
