I have ordered this EX7. And yeah.. EX5 is more synth in many ways.. I know. But I don't mind. This ain't my first kbd. Love it!! Always wanted. As I wanted the Karma.. and now is w/me. Txs for this fantastic demo review! The best I have seen so far. Cheers!!

Thank you! You're very kind. I had experience demoing home organs for years, so making sampled instruments sound good is fairly easy, considering the limitations of old oscillators trying to sound like any real acoustic instrument.

Along with an original DX7 and DX7s, out of the two DX's I have, I prefer the way my original DX7 sounds over the DX7s for some patches. The DX7s is a lot brighter.

@tinylilmatt This EX7 has the FlashRAM installed so all external waves remain with power off. The machine 'wakes up' with everything working, just as if it was in ROM.
