Yamaha Fazer Project - Episode 1 - Starter Motor Fault

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks episode of Shed of Revs!!
This is an exciting week as I am finally in a position to take you on my your of my first project bike, I hope its interesting and inciteful, and encourages you to take on your own project.
The bike is a 1998 Yamaha Fazer 600, nothing special but parts are a plenty and its an easy bike to learn on.

I've gotta right headache getting my fazer to start, all connections are clean, the switches are functioning, it starts when you bridge the solinoid terminals, but it won't on the starter button..

Have you checked things like the side stand switch? I had to disconnect and bridge mine
