I had the same issue with both the sensor and the screws. To remove the screws, the drill wasn't enough; I eventually had to use a screw extractor. I installed two 5x16 Allen screws, and the problem was permanently solved. Thank you for your videos!

Not that it would have made any difference, I use JIS screwdriver for Japanese motorcycles since they have a different cross than Philips screws. The screw drivers of brand Vessel really do the job very well, can be used with Philips screws as well so dont need any others. (I am not getting paid by Vessel, dont have shares nor have any other benefits) so mentioning this means I really appreciate having them. ...awaiting for more content to consume from the Old (enterteachment) Mechanic 🙂

Hi, How come you didn't use an impact driver to remove those bolts ? If an impact driver couldn't get them out, you could have used an Eazi out to remove them instead of drilling them out. Could you not purchase the correct length bolts ? Did you clean the threads on the bolts that hold the side stand to the bike before re-fitting them ?

Those screw heads are like toffee. Best to replace them with Allen bolts always. 😎👍🇬🇧

The thing leaks oil 🤓 lost an oilfilter somewhere. And you should use Vessel JIS screwdrivers. It is not philips, it is JIS. I believe philips was designed for boeing to screw everything without over torqueing things. The screwdriver slips in the screw and so it is torqued correctly. That is the purpose of a philips screw, so I have been told. JIS does not slip. Google Vessel impact.
