Man this head came out lovely! Hope you guys find it as satisfying as I did seeing the material be shaved away. DON'T FORGET TO TURN THE QUALITY OF THE VIDEO UP. IT'S SHOT IN 4K:)

I appreciate that. It will be awesome to get this puppy going to see the difference between my bike and this one.

The hulk pictures on the wall at the end of your video are bad ass. Nice job on porting

I`ve done a few KZ heads and yes, it sucks....I`m sure the pro`s have special tools to get the bulk of the material out fast...And special techniques....WTG on your porting jobs...I know how ya feel...

Well done on the porting! using a bigger mill would have sped it up. Do you have before and after porting dynoruns? I'm looking for results on a portjob on this bike.

Very informative, and interesting video. Thanks for putting this up. I enjoy following the evolution and the inner workings of this bike. If your're open to some feedback, I do feel that the video could be a little shorter, and another camera angle (like an external time lapse) would help tremendously to break up the monotony of POV shots. With that said though, great job I appreciate the time you invested in this.

No no constructive criticism is very welcome. And I would agree with you on the angle of the shot. I want to do more angles and stop the same view. Sometimes hard with certain spaces and no one to help hold the camera but it will be on my to do list to change. I appreciate the words. I suppose they could be a bit shorter I just want to make sure that the information needed is in the video along with some good visuals.

Do you flash ecu??

Awesome work, but it takes so much time to do it. Well done mate. Is it worth doing this to the head if the engine is just normally aspirated ? Subscribed.
@rhetericalpha4 жыл бұрын
Yes indeed it takes a long time. And yes there are benefits of a ported head even being naturally aspirated. An engine is an air put so with a better flowing head you can cram more air into the cylinder and make more power with tuning of course. You can't just open the ports big either as you don't want the air to loss velocity getting into the cylinders. One thing I've came across is you can lose some low end power but gain it in the upper rpm. Some put a thinner head gasket on naturally engine to raise the compression and keep the low end power and get the high end power as well. Thanks for the Sub Dave.

Beautiful job bro, that’s gonna flow so damn nice. My dad ports by hand and I seriously have no idea how he does it lol Btw I heard you use the term “flash” talking about the casting lines, what do you do for work? I work with plastics and different kinds of molding processes and this video is the only time I’ve heard flash used outside of work lol

Wish I caught this build when it was first coming out so I wasn’t dumping a bunch of comments on your year old videos, sorry! 😅
