So good to see you restored to standard and didnt hack it with some shitty R6 bodywork or something like that. The factory Yamahas are beautiful and are becoming quite collectible. Beautiful job.
@MarkReynoldsRestorations3 жыл бұрын
Got to celebrate the bike as it came out the factory. I wasn't happy about having to change the EXUP exhaust but the headers were rotten. I've still got the original exhaust though and looking at a specialist fabricator to repair them.

Nice movie!! I am Japanese, and I have same motorcycle. So, tell me please. Stock exhaust is painted black. Do you remove paint, or replace optional part? Sorry, my English is broken.
@MarkReynoldsRestorations3 жыл бұрын
Better English than my Japanese 👍. Unfortunately the original EXUP exhaust was badly corroded and beyond repair so I fitted an aftermarket Black Widow exhaust.
@n1k4_a483 жыл бұрын
@@MarkReynoldsRestorations I 'm glad your answer. I want to know "aftermarket Black Widow exhaust". Where did you buy this one? And I am worried about insulator, between engine, and carburetor.This parts are sold out. So, I glued broken this parts, by epoxy adhesive.This is not good. I think, you have same worry about insulator, don't you? Thank you.「3TJ FZR400RR」is one of the beautiful motorcycle, I think.

Black Widow is a UK company. This is their website. www.blackwidowexhausts.co.uk/ Have a look on www.cmsnl.com/yamaha-fzr400rr-1992-4dx1-europe-224dx-300e1_model38067/partslist/0011.html for carb rubbers. Not ideal being glued.
