You know that’s them hooked for life😅I rebuilt an RGV250 with my lad a few years back. That said he’s now embarked on a career in engineering cnc machining/ fabricating so I reckon he will come in useful for the next build. Fantastic build thanks for sharing.

I would argue that the NC30 is better proportioned than the RC30. This restoration looks like perfection to me. More exotic than anything Italian :) Great job!

Absolutely beautiful bike! The NC-30 was and is one of the greatest bikes HONDA or any other manufacturer ever made. Unfortunately here in the USA we never had the opportunity to purchase this machine. As was and is the case with many other incredible JAPANESE sport bikes ( NOT AVAILABLE IN USA).

So i am in the same spirit than you to keep it maximum with original parts. i have the possibility to do by my self powder coating. For zinc plated, i have to find somebody in north of france ( i'm from Lille ;) ). Do you also paint frame sub , frame, fork etc ... ? because it looks really brand new

It's actually a 92. Wrong colours for the year I know but for me it had to be those colours. Yeah the boys need to learn the correct way first. Build up to the power tools.

Fantasic video. Great to see 2 future HRC technicians on the job. Had one of these in my mid 20's. So well balanced and so much power for a 400. Like the castellated sockets and now the C Spanner, can be bought here but they arent marked for 'nc30' instead theyre just in a milimeter value, so im not sure which to get. Im suspecting a 30mm castle socket for swingarm, but im not sure if a 32-36mm c spanner would work

I'm in the UK and found a decent breaker for most of the parts I needed. Any new OEM bits were from either Fowlers or CMSL. Wemoto do a few bits too.
