Hello guitar players! would you recommend getting this or normal sized guitar for a beginner? i have played ukulele before and love it but id like to give guitar a try! so is this easier or harder to practice basics with?

It doesn't matter because, each instrument will have it"s own challengs.

Honestly, tuning matters. The ukulele is 5 key higher than a guitar. Jamming would be very different since you had to accord to the same scale as your bandmates, if they play in G, you had to play in G as well, but not in the chords of an actual guitar, you had to do a different fingering. And you could get forced to use the ukulele chords instead. If you want to play a guitar with actual guitar chords, try a real guitar. The Guitalele is just a ukulele with 3 new strings.

Nylon strings

it's made for Daddario (Red Label) - High Tension nylon... medium tension will be too 'floppy' and extra-high will be too crossbow-like, while also limiting the resonance which the lighter strings compliment. If you're playing really aggressively, then the extra-high can give your arms and fingers the necessary resistance - however, the G string is a little thicker and therefore, muted in its more bell-like tone - and the overall sound is not so sparkling as with the regular high-tension. Other brands of strings may sound pretty sometimes, at quieter volumes and more delicate approaches. However, for anything stronger they simply do not have the stamina to go the distance, as Daddario does. Have looked intently into finding the best combination, taking all things into consideration, fyi this is my unbiased opinion.

I am using Yousician app for learning music, what instrument I have to select to learn GL1 :- Ukulelel or Guitar?

Great to hear you're learning the GL1! 😀 You'll need to select guitar rather than ukulele; the GL1 is strung the same as a regular acoustic or classical guitar, but pitched higher (due to the shorter neck). Be aware that if the app plays back examples, they may be lower in pitch compared to when you play the same. Enjoy!
