The GL1 is an exceptionally well-made little instrument, particularly when you consider its very modest cost. Playing it is a real pleasure. I'd really like to see it come with an optional pickup.

I want one

I really wanted one. I’m glad the music store nearby had one to try. The strings are too close together for my finger picking. My baritone uke and guitar have much easier string spacing for my hands. No go for me. However, it did sound very nice and looks like a good build. Smooth frets nice quality, just too small.

yeah but the strings would be really floppy, or you'd have to modify it to fit thicker strings. 1/2 size guitar would be better suited

Unfortunately, it requires adjustment polishing the frets and lowering the strings on the bridge and saddle. so,it's not perfect for beginners.

small guitars are usually targeted for children, but the guitalele can be a professional instrument for adults. Watch Corey Fujimoto play "Somewhere over the Rainbow" on the guitalele and you can see
