Great videos. I was wondering if you ever found the air duct for the grizzly 600? I'm missing it n haven't found one anywhere. Thanks for your time n knowledge

Thanks and no I didn't find one new. I saw a couple on ebay used a while back. I sold the 600 a year or 2 ago. It was fun but I never got the jetting right on the carb and it would back fire and blow the carb off.

@@HotRodDave i have another question bud. The other day my 600 wasn't wanting to go into gear lever would move but it was just kind of grinding n I'd shut it off n restart it n then it was goin into gear has me stumped. Any ideas?

@@thadboman4340 Mine did that sometimes and would pop out of gear sometimes but I don't know the fix for it.

@@HotRodDave I have a 98 grizzly 600 that’s in rebuilding as well and I can’t seem to find the the duct that comes out of the air box. Any advise on how to custom one.

@@melindalucio1099 are you talking about the one out of the lid of the air box or the one to the back of the carburetor?

@@HotRodDave it the lid on top of the air box and goes out the top. When I look it up the lid has a round cut out and the duct is no longer something they make.

I removed and replaced by grizzly carb after watching this video. Its running like a champ again, thanks you were spot on. there is a hose that comes off the rear brakes and one off the gearbox. Do you have any idea where they to go?

Those are probably breather tubes. They just vent out to the air.

I just a 2000 1 grizzly 600 and it throws a lot of smoke I change the oil air\oil filter and still does it and it sometimes it turns Off what do you think ?

If it is smoking out of the exhaust pipe you have a ring and piston problem and it will need disassembled for inspection. May get away with a piston and rings but may need a total rebuild.

Great videos Dave!!! You talked about changing the tires on the grizzly. I just bought the same bike and my tires are pretty worn. I was thinking about putting on mud lites. Do you think the bike will still run smoothly ? I'm looking for a little more grip. I don't think they will be to hard on the bike.

You will be fine. The more aggressive the tread the worse your ride will be on hard surfaces. These tires work pretty good in soft soil, sand and mud.

@@HotRodDave hey Dave, I have the opportunity to put on 27x10x14 mud lites on the grizzly. Of course I would have to put on 14inch rims and scrap the 12 inch ones. Do you think this is a good idea or is it to much and I should scrap the idea?
