Yamaha Grizzly 700 Bearing Replacement and Greasing Bearings

Hi Skid-Co. Is it easy to make an Over-the- Axle Wheel Bearing Grease Tool for the Grizzly? Further, why don't you rotate the tool 90 degrees and 3 times to ensure grease has got to all areas of the wheel bearing?

would a bad bearing cause a random vibration, that starts and starts randomly as I'm riding?

It could. jack up the atv and try to shake the wheels top to bottom. if it does try to see where the movement is. Could be the bearings and could be steering linkage.

But that’s an internally greased bearing. Is this even necessary

Yes. There are tons of failures of these bearings. They make the tools. Its nothing new. I just made my own because I wanted it a certain way. It took more than a few pumps of grease to fill it. They aren't full new.
