Yamaha grizzly 700 hard to shift? remove the parking brake shift lock cable

You need to just sray wd 40 on the end of the cable in the shifter box . Work it back and forth it will free up .

My Grizzly 700 is a 2009, and is stuck in park. I always used the foot brake to sift. So that interlock cable is also attached to the foot brake and hand brake lever? I'm a little confused sorry? Any insight. Thanks Mate 😊👍

Hope you got your issue fixed. The foot brake has a cable that pulls on your (left) hand brake lever which then also pulls on this interlock cable. The newer grizzlies (16+ I think) have eliminated this interlock.
