Hello dear....good job. Only issue was your language is not understandable. So, request you to add subtitles. I just want to know some preventive steps for my Onkyo HT-R670. It is working ok but as you know, the hdmi board or DTS chip issue is prevalent in most of the AVRs. Could you pls. suggest few things which help me avoid any issues? Observation : With one end audio signal jack connected to subwoofer , when I touch the finger to other end of audio signal jack - it makes humming sound It would be great of great help if you could suggest some troubleshooting tips . Once you install the replacement ic u need to turn on in advance mode in receiver then use init all options, so then only saved ram programs get copy to DTS ic

First ic also need to buy same model no, becoz from AliExpress all ic's are copy version only and duplicate the getting more heat compare to OEM ic . In my experience

avr 2000 harman kardon , when I switch on display comes immediately it gets off , no problem in amp and decoders section , when I give 5 volt supply externally to display processor the stand by mode led changes its colour within 3 seconds the processor remains warm no overheating any suggestions and more over I reset the system still the problem continues

Yes, it's fused and two layers primary windings also burned, so I rewind the primary windings, and secondary windings is same no change

Whats u r speaker impedance? is it 4 ohms or does it short the output yamaha has no short ckt protection.previously iam running my amp at 4 ohms.@65% of the volume makes my amp a little hot.now i changed to 16 ohms amp runs cool even at 80% of the volume .a little bit of clipping when the extreme lows other wise it fine.I don’t recommend 4 ohms for yamaha it blows your speaker as well as stress your amp badly

Bro , first thing- speaker low or high impedance and input overload can harm only output stage or digital section and cause AMP to trigger into protection mode .and their is no harm to main transformer primary windings Second thing- customer told his house electrical got power fluctuation problem it causes the amp transformer

Before using amp please refer manual and use speaker with OEM specified rating. Stick with your manufacturers spec

@@fixavreceiver ok i know only over current drowning making the transformer winding to burn.the output stage is related to the secondry and primary as well as the main power. Input stage does t matter the perimary and secondary winding ,i think input stage make damage to the driver transistor.Actually the speakers get the power from the transformer which is modulated by the transistors according to the input(low voltage doesn’t matter the transformer).when low impedance speaker is connected more current will demand from the transformer by the transistor to operate in the active region. This current also may damage your winding and transistor 😃
