Hi there, can you record songs into one of the channels? And how? Thanks
@kennetheaston56374 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the video! I just bought one of these Yamaha psr s 670, and im still reading the manuals so my question is about syncing tracks while recording, assuming I don't want to record with the accompaniment, is there a count off? or is that only in the accompaniment? I noticed you can use a metronome, but is it automatically synced and if not is there a way to do it post production? Also, is there any way to print out the notation/transfer to a pdf file Thx.!

Hello there. First what kind of recording you are talking about. If MIDI within the device - all tracks (layered one of each other are synchronized) you always record from the beginning. of course like in this video you can use pedal to punch in punch out, Saved song is midi file so you can transfer it into computer and use free software like Anvil Studio to display scores and more. Maybe I will create a video about it - it is a good topic Situation is more complex if you record digital wav files using Audio recorder in Yamaha and you want to combine tracks. This scenario can not be done without PC and software or external recorder or looper like I describe in this series of vidoes: kzbin.info/aero/PLlMRSGuMikFqq-4dP1ZnMp-ftsGvGpHk5 please look at them and give me an update

One more questio please! Considering the audio recording, does it mean if I record audio tecording that that instrument is in audio format and I can put it in cubase directly?
@BBWalkerTV4 жыл бұрын
Yes, Exactly. You will have WAV File, I recommend to watch this video where I explain more: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r36leoiXp6p2lcU

Is it possible to transfere recorded midi channel into cubase or other studio programs and then work with them in studio, but previously record it on yamaha?
@igorcukrovofficial37774 жыл бұрын
I dont have studio at home, so I would tranafer chanels to studio after home work
@BBWalkerTV4 жыл бұрын
Sure, just record song (SNG or MID format ) depending on device you have, than in FL or Cubase import it - maybe it will be good topic for next video. Give me a comment if you have problem with it. Song could be 1 channel or many channel. on DAW you will be able to change channel mapping and for example replace piano with organs etc

Do you know can you change normal recorded channel into midi channel
@BBWalkerTV4 жыл бұрын
@@igorcukrovofficial3777 What do you mean by "normal record" - if you are recording using Audio Player/Rec - this is digital audio, and chaining it is possible but difficult. The recorded on multitrack like in this video is pure MIDI data so it could be easily moved to computer. Stay connected I will post a video with practical example how to do this
@igorcukrovofficial37774 жыл бұрын
@@BBWalkerTV i recorded it on multitrack, not audio player, but I was wondering when you press rec button with channel number in same time, then you choose between : (right1,right2, chords, bass, midi etc...) Do I have to choose midi or it is midi anyway

Hi BB!! When creating a style and recording as a song when adfing recording can you quantise like the style? Also when. Creating a style i know it states you have to play in C Is there a way to record what you play in style using as a sequencer as i do?
@BBWalkerTV4 жыл бұрын
About quantise any channel in song sure you can - please watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eoLNhH9rr7iBmKM As recording as sequencer - what exactly do you mean ? You mean loop recording (not in style creator) and using it for example as chord progression loop ? - Unfortunately there is no such feature without external help (soft or hardware) maybe this playlist will give you some inspiration: kzbin.info/aero/PLlMRSGuMikFqq-4dP1ZnMp-ftsGvGpHk5

Hi BB Quick question. When i have created a style and then recorded as a song.when playing back i alter some parameters eg changing bass sound and volune levels. When i try to save they resort to original settings what am i doing wrong?
@BBWalkerTV4 жыл бұрын
Hello there. please tell me which option are you using to change the parameters like volume? Are you using mixer in the panel part or maybe the mixer in song or style part. Some of the settings are not stored in song midi file but the registration. I can help but I need to know with settings are you altering after the style creation.
@MegaTucker044 жыл бұрын
@@BBWalkerTV Hi Thanks for a prompt reply.l am making the changes using the mixer function to identify and change bass and mixer parts 1 to 8 and 9 to 16 eg altering chosen multi pad and keyboard and bass levels.
@BBWalkerTV4 жыл бұрын
@@MegaTucker04 I have checked this moment ago and yes there is a solution. My first surprise was that mixer (song part) is not saved into song file on the part with style - there is only reference to existing style on the device and it's default volumes. So the solution is: 1. Create copy of your style with the volumes as you like. This video shows it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4TSqmOYdtGtkJI 2. Record your song with this "copied" style selected. 3. Save you song Each time you load style-based-song it loads it with the altered style Another - simpler way is to save song in registration memory along with mixer setting that alters original style. If you have problem with it - I can create special video for you - just let me know

Is it possible to record right1 and right2 at the same time?
@BBWalkerTV2 жыл бұрын
Multi Recording from more than 1 source is not possible but there is very simple trick - you record one channel (Right1 for example) and copy it into second channel, after it you will have the effect you need (dual voice) , here is the video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZWmhn-imsiqeKs

Hi! Thank you very much for such a detail lesson. Can you please help me regarding the following queries of Yamaha PSR S670: 1. How to do the PUNCH IN record? 2. How to change the Voice in a recorded MIDI Channel? 3. How to record in Multipads? Thanks in Advance!
Thanks for this important lesson. Please can you explain how I can arrange a complete Song step by step in that way, For example Part A Intro. B: Choire C Refrain until D Final.
