Wow! How amazing. I have been eyeballing those for a while now. So a while back I picked up a low cost Yamaha acoustic for my daughter for a holiday gift (recommended by Warren). A while later I actually borrowed it from her for a recording I was working on, just cause it had such a great recording sound. As such, I truly believe you have an amazing guitar there! Enjoy! Oh, and thank you for the desert tips. I am going to try that after work!

That Sahara style sounds so nice, but why not tune the A down to G, instead of cranking the E up? I think it puts a lot of pressure on the neck.
@HitTheRoadMusicStudio Жыл бұрын
It does, but that's how they do it, it might be uncommon for us who are used to western tuning systems, and my experience after 2 years living there is that music comes always first, no matter the "technical" thoughts - the other thing is: Try it out, it sounds so wonderful and different then a tuned down A, it's like a wonderful drone on top of that which can be simply switched with a capo

Congratulations Mr Ady. I Luv many styles of music. Two instruments I really Luv are an Acoustic Guitar and a Saxophone. That is a Beautiful sounding Yamaha. The full body lows blend so well with mids and upper mids. Looking forward to hearing it through the Lewitts as well. I also want to tell you I truly enjoy Your trips to the Sahara. When You record the bands no matter where You are at, or what they are playing, or how many there are 5-15, You help them to showcase who they are and what their gifts and talents are. Thank You Mr Ady for Your Labor of Luv 🙏🙏 Am I correct that you put out a course on Recording and Mixing, seems like I saw it one time when You were on with Warren??? Can You give some info on it. Happy Pickin and Strumming and Happy Travels 🙏🙏

Hello BK Smith!!! Thank you so much for this kind and wonderful comment, this means a lot to me! We do what we can and the time in the desert will be forever in our hearts. Yes you are absolutely right, I created many tutorials with the music that we recorded on our journey where I explain which Mic's I chose (And why), How to start a mix, bring it further and finish it :) Here are two courses that we created with Daraa Tribes in the Desert: transactions.sendowl.com/stores/14509/212520 As well as one course with Tasuta N-Imal, the song that went out to 500,000+ people :) If you have any questions please let me know, the purchase will help us to move on with this artists support journey through Eastern Europe - Turkey - Georgia - Armenia :)

Please tell me if you record LL16 sound in the sound card line, there is no passive pickup and equalizer in the guitar, ie nothing can be changed, only on PC or mixer, does it work well, is it better fgx830 c with active pickup?
@HitTheRoadMusicStudio2 жыл бұрын
Hey, thank you for the question! There is a direct line out for the passive pickup which sits under the bridge and I tested it out - honestly, the sound is pretty good for a line out, nevertheless, it is still a direct line out and I still prefer microphones ;) For any guitar in the world - I hope that helps! I don't have a direct comparison between FGX830 C and LL16 pickups ;)
@ПавлоВенгерко2 жыл бұрын
@@HitTheRoadMusicStudio at home I just want to sit and play, and with a microphone a lot of work is needed, which microphones you use, as I plan to record more in line whether there is content in LL16 or enough and fgx 830, I have 5 more days to exchange me worries that the difference inthe price is not great $ 300
@Wobbz9413 Жыл бұрын
@@ПавлоВенгерко the LL16 is a far superior guitar. There is NO comparison with the FG830. the passive pickup is fine.
@HitTheRoadMusicStudio Жыл бұрын
@@ПавлоВенгерко Hey man! I don't recommend the passive mic output that comes with the LL-16 but there's a cheap and easy versatile solution: 1 x SM57 in front of your guitar where usually the Cutaway is (Pink Floyd Method) 2 x Any Condensor Mic, I use Lewitt, between your chin and the guitar, in Line with the SM57 but above Perfect blend with full frequency range - make sure they are in phase and you got the best guitar sound in the world
@HitTheRoadMusicStudio Жыл бұрын
@@Wobbz9413 Absolutely! LL-16 is for me the best! The passive Pickup is fine but could be better - just tested it live and the sound guy had a hard time haha
