Examples of my go to ”Bread & Butter” on the Modx using ”Super knob”. Piano, pad, strings, Dx Ep, Rhodes, Brass and organ. (Sorry for mono audio, realised too late...)

what is Bread & Butter sounds? i dont know this meaning
@MusikOchProduktion3 жыл бұрын
I’m thinking the daily use/something that always work. ”Quick & easy” get there kind of sounds. Guess like most often usable sounds. In Sweden we sometimes say ”Meat & Potatoes” 🤣

@@MusikOchProduktion ok, working sounds, for almost musilca generes, yeah, thanks
@abohsukampret3 жыл бұрын
"Bread & butter" means the standard sounds you would normally play on a keyboard without any tweaking/sound designing: Piano, EP, organ, strings, brass.

Wouldn’t an expression pedal offer better control?

Surely ;-)

Yeah, the super knob is a very cool function and you can do a lot of more than only changing of the volumes :) Thanks for the demo!

Nice video. How do you make the sound go straight from the keyboard to KZbin audio?
@MusikOchProduktion3 жыл бұрын
I actually used a USB cable from MODX directly to my iPhone (keyboard as USB audio interface). Then I just recorded the video with the camera app as usual. Unfortunately the audio became mono. Don´t know why though...
@Kaipiano_3 жыл бұрын
@@MusikOchProduktion thanks I didn’t even know my modx has a usb cable in the back

@@MusikOchProduktion i just tried it and I hear no audio
@MusikOchProduktion3 жыл бұрын
Are you using the square port in the back aka ”printer port” with a camera connection kit? Check my video with Forescore sheet reader where I use the same cable. Also try to connect the cable after you have started recording with the camera app.

@@MusikOchProduktion no I was only using usb to iphone in the usb to host port

Which brass is that ???.how do you get that pop?

That's a Brass Section Fall. I've combined a couple of brass presets. The fall happens when I press down hard. I think I've uploaded this preset to Soundmondo: soundmondo.yamahasynth.com/voices/41873

I always thought that super knob looks like a nipple….lol
@MusikOchProduktion3 жыл бұрын
Sure does 🙈😂
@MusikOchProduktion3 жыл бұрын
Luckily you can turn the nipple blinking off 😝
@MusikOchProduktion3 жыл бұрын
Yup. For every preset you can choose any led colour and if you want steady light or flashing in tempo of the preset (or off completely). I usally go with flashing only if I use arpeggios. It becomes like a silent metronome then.
@borispradel10373 жыл бұрын
@M Luiz This is a great synth, but damn it's ugly and that nipple is so tacky.

What sound system/speakers are you using?

Actually I mostly use this when I play live in venues (with in-ear monitoring). When I practice or program sounds I usually use headphones too 🙈😜

THATS NICE, BRASS DID YOU DO ANY EDITITING ON THE SOUNDS
@MusikOchProduktion3 жыл бұрын
I can check, but I have layered a couple of different sounds depending on how hard I press etc. Also I would think I have pitched them a little bit different a couple of cents to make it sound more realistic.

@@MusikOchProduktion yes it's very nice sounding, if you can let me know which brass it is, would be great thanks.
