The Yamaha MONTAGE-8 Synthesizer is a 88 key synthesizer featuring a 7'' colour Wide-VGA touchscreen, 128-note polyphony, Motion Control Synthesis and Balanced Hammer Keyboard. Additionally the synth features a Performance Mode and Seamless Sound Switching (SSS) technology for added performance value. The MONTAGE series is a new collection of synthesizers by Yahama, who are renowned for their beautiful yet exceptionally sounding piano-based instruments. The MONTAGE-8 features premium quality components combined with a sleek, streamlined design resulting in a powerhouse of a synthesizer.

incredible performance mate! So torn between this, the NS3 and the kronos 2. Im worried the NS3 may sound the best but wont have enough features. at the same time im concerned that the Kronos will be just too in depth for me to get my head around. This seems to be the best in terms of good sounds, easy enough to use but very in depth.

I feel the same. I own a Kronos 2; I'm looking to add a NS3 or the Montage. I don't think I will be selling the Kronos - it's just an amazing machine.

I noticed that most of the high end Stage Pianos or Synths like Montage have unnatural Piano sounds. They all sound way too atmospherical. I started playing Piano on a simple stage Piano for 300$. The sounds were Raw as it gets. When I jumped to the "Flagships", they suddenly all sound too computer generated like. Even though they apparently are samples. :(
