Hi A Yamaha tech told me that I couldn’t name the faders on my Montage m8x. Why? I used to have a Roland Fantom 8 and It allowed me to name the faders so I could recall each saved instrument. If that’s the case with Yamaha, this complicated keyboard is being returned.

Hi thank you for your comment, Faders only control part volume or element/operator/oscilator level, there is no "screen" to rename them, assignables knobs can have a lot of destinations, you can rename them, wait for my video about subscreen coming in 3 weeks i hope and you will see how to do it. Hope that's help
