Hi James! You are right; since Camelot on iPad is identical to Camelot on macOS, it’s just easier prepare a shooting with the Mac. They are identical, what you miss exactly from the tutorials that apply to iPad only?

Simone - I've purchased Camelot and new to the application. I use this with my Montage 6 and Yamaha CP88 and absolutely LOVE Camelot. My question is if you make changes to the parts and elements on the Montage like you did in this video, does it change on the Montage itself or only on Camelot? Do you have to save a new performance in the Montage? Thank you.

The original Performance remains untouched. The change happens just when the Scene is recalled in Camelot. Camelot is not an editor.

Grande Simone e grazie per il bellissimo video, non capisco però una cosa: ho versione ipad, in uno stesso layer non posso caricare più blocchetti con i preset di Modx, quando vado su hardware e seleziono Modx mi dice che lo strumento è già attivo ma non riesco a caricare i preset... ma anche se imposto un altro layer, l'unica cosa che mi concede è impostare una connessione fra i layer senza però farmi caricare un preset... grazie

Ciao Gianluca, un "blocchetto" rappresenta un device, non un preset. Aggiungere più blocchetti alla stessa scena significherebbe che tu hai fisicamente diversi MODX. In ogni caso, non si possono eseguire più performance in parallelo sulla stessa macchina, per lo meno su MODX. Camelot i miracoli ancoraa non li fa :-) Semplicemente richiama preset di un'architettura hardware che funziona in un determinato modo. Se quello che vuoi realizzare è cambiare i suoni delle singole parti di MODX, devi "espandere" il blocchetto (frecce contrapposte in basso a destra) e selezionare il suono su ogni parte. Se non è questo quello che vuoi realizzare, scrivi al canale ufficiale di supporto tecnico [e-mail] e fornisci più dettagli.

Sulla mia Montage l'aggiornamento della Smart Map funziona solo per l'area "User" e "Preset". Le mie "Library" non vengono aggiornate: Camelot riceve su tutte e 50 le postazioni Library (ma su montage alla fine sono al massimo 8!) la performance "Venus Overture" come primo suono e INIT AWM2 dal secondo in poi. Riesco comunque a richiamare le Library utilizzando MSB LSB e PC (che leggo dalle proprietà della performance) tramite comando "Midi Standard" di Camelot, ma in questo modo la smart Map.... non è smart 🙂.

Camelot is not a Sequencer, it's a live performance platform. If you need sequences, you need to load a dedicated plugin

Is it possible to build a setlist with camelot, where you have for example 32 songs on one page and each one would select a live set on the montage with just a click? Also if I want to control two yamaha keyboards in the same time, how do I hook them up to one iPad? And if I want to use the audio interface on one keyboard, would that eliminate the ability to control that keyboard with camelot, using USB instead of midi ?(because there's only one usb port on the montage)

1) you can create any kind of setlist you want there are no limits to the number of songs. Any song can recall any performance of Montage 2) two or more keyboards can be controlled using a USB HUB connected to the iPad 3) the USB Audio does not exclude MIDI you cann use for examples 3 keyboards connected by MIDI USB and the USB Audio from Montage

Buongiorno, chiedo aiuto! Ho comprato Camelot pro per Mac e ho avuto 0 problemi. Ho comprato camelot pro su iPad, con master e vst tutto perfetto, con montage mi da un problema al caricamento delle librerie. Icona errore time out e dice di controllare il collegamento con il device, ma è tutto ok! La montage è settata correttamente in locall Off! L’icona della usb su montage mi esce di colore azzurro. Forse non aggiorno la montage da tanto tempo? Prego aiutatemi a risolvere questo problema. Il problema risulta per il caricamento dei miei live set con le mie performance. Grazie a tutti

I’ve managed to get the mapping right with a USB cable but not with the 5pin midi in/out interface. How should the settings be in Camelot to do that? As well I wonder if it’s possible to connect montage and NS3 with Camelot and at the same time control montage (for program change) with a Keytar? How should I connect these three together? MIDI splitter, merge? Thanks in advance

Hi Dino, be sure the Montage is set to use the MIDI port. On the Montage go to Settings and select "MIDI" for the "MIDI IN/OUT" option (see: shorturl.at/ejNR7). In Camelot, you have to select the ports of your USB interface for the "Send MIDI To" and "Data Sync" ports. Of course, you can use Camelot to perform complex routings between different devices. Connect all your devices through a USB HUB, or via Bluetooth. Forget old-style Daisy Chains. In Camelot configure each Scene to perform a patch change. On the Keytar, use a dedicated button to switch Camelot Scenes. Remote control is configured under SETTINGS -> Remote Control -> MIDI -> From/By. Create a new Controller, select the Keytar's MIDI port, map buttons or faders to Camelot commands/evens. If you need more help, don't hesitate to contact the official support at [e-mail]

Camelot supports Montage Scene selection for each Performance: just select the right arrow corresponding to the Performance name and select the Montage scene number from 1 to 8. That's it!
