@@soundformore The MODX has the same functions for a fraction of the price.

Yes with some limitations on one engine, but yes… they are both great… I got the Montage when it came out… this is why I title it Montage / MODX… :)

@@soundformore When Montage came out, I didn‘t see a big advantage over the MOTIF XF that I still possess. OK, the FM-machine is very good but not essential for most of us gigging musicians. When the MODX came out, I was electrified. Hardly distinguishable sound quality, very little limitations compared to the Montage, better transportability and a lower price. 👍🏻

This is fantastic for guys like me who don‘t like to dig through manual books. Especially when the manuals at the end don‘t provide the relevant information.

I have to say the manuals are not good at all… they don’t connect well topics and they omit topics and explanations as well… even some of the tutorials online and on KZbin are not always great… I am going slow here, I will upload many and sometimes I will repeat some concepts so that eventually all will become clear with not too much effort on reading manuals, articles and hours of trying … :)

@@soundformore This is absolutely right. Thank you very much for your work. I think that more guys use these videos than show appreciation with likes or abonnements.

@@soundformore I had a MODX and I too was frustrated by both the manual and the reference guide..But “Yamaha Synth” has several great articles plus there’s a free online guide that’s very good by a guy from Europe who’s name I forgot.. I love the fact that it’s class compliant unlike the Roland Fantom 0….However I hated the MODX interface and I sold it .. I’m gonna either buy the new Akai MPC 61 or Roland Fantom 06..Since you have both, I think it’d be a great idea to do a Fantom vs MODX video.
