MT-01 owner from the Netherlands here..., no matter how often I hear my own MT-01 rumbling, I can't get enough of it and then I'll go to KZbin and find MT-01's rumbling as well... I should record this and play it all day long....;-)

Absolutely love these bikes, had one years ago and there is nothing quite like them. Its if you know you know type of thing. Great vid, thanks for sharing

One point I like about this bike is the fact it has massive Torque (111 lbs) and its a naked , as opposed to a cruiser... cans sounds awesome 👍😎

I should of pulled the trigger on an MT01 ... Back in 2021 ... But I went for the famous Bandit 1200 N in black ... Had a blast! But Covid hit and I had to sell up ... Itching for another bike ... But sensible ... For a 6'8" bloke ... Pickings are small

The MT-01 is not as small as most naked bikes these days. It suits my 6'6 frame well.

I'm interested in buying a mt01 , i do the maintenance om my bikes myself. Have youdone valve clearance on your 01 already. Cheers from South Africa. Thanks for the nice video's.

Excellent choice. The MT-01 has self adjusting valves, due to the fact it has hydrolic push rods. I did some research on this a while back, Yamaha say they are self adjusting and only need to be checked if there is any issue. This is from the service manual. "valve clearance is automatically adjusted by the hydraulic valve lifter. However, there are times that the valve clearance needs to be ad-justed manually"

Thank you for your reply. I'll let you know if I get the bike. I have a 05 1200 rt bmw and a 06 Vrod. Doing the valves on the vrod is a mission. Best of luck to you.
