If you get the opportunity to ride a bike like the new MT-10 on a racetrack, you'd be a fool not to take it.
My experience was no different from the road. The bike is smooth and easy to ride and has enough power for a great track performance. I can imagine that this is the perfect bike if you are looking into having a bike for both road and track use.

I love this bike. However the 22 front end I can’t say I am a fan of. The 21 did it for me, I was able to find the 2021 ( new ) with blue grey & black, currently placing my order for my Toce exhaust with FT & intake ( couple more goodies to go with it. But couldn’t be happier with the performance out of the box, especially considering the regulated restrictions that are placed on the bike from the manufacturer,

How can you blow such an opportunity to capture the sound of that glorious engine by not properly mic’ing up the bike?!?!

Yes, sorry about that. I actually wanted to make this a Vlog but my Gopro did not recognize the microfon correctly. So I ended up with the horrible microphone sound of the GoPro...

How do you like the bike? How’s the low-mid range torque? Where do you feel the power band in torque range? I’ve an sp 2022 on order and I’m excited. But I’m still debating if I should go for something else since I already own a SF V2

Is it a fun bike to ride? I’m just looking for comfortable weekend fun with good sound track? But in no way want a slow bike.

I loved it, especially on the road. The power delivery is very nice in my opinion. A bit more linear compared to the old model. There is plenty of power in all ranges, you just feel a bit that the gearing is longer if you compare it for example with a CP3 bike. On the press launch, I pretty much rode everything in 3rd and 4th gear and felt it always wanted to go really fast. The nice thing about the MT-10 is, that it feels so effortless to ride fast. I didn't break a sweat, it's just so easy to ride. Still the bike is great fun because of the short wheelbase and the increidble CP4-soundtrack. And I think it's more comfortable than any other big naked bike because of the upright seating position and the spacious seat. If I didn't already have my 3 other bikes, this one (or the TRACER 9) would be my choice. I hope to get to ride the new MT-10 SP soon as well, but the standard version is already very capable in my opinion.

I appreciate your brief reply 🙏🏼 one of the main reasons I wanted to buy the bike was that it’s the only naked that’s fully upright and comfy. Even my sf v2 can strain my wrist sometimes.

When you say linear? Does it still maintain the punchy torquey characteristics? The reason I wanna go for cp4 engine is sound track and punchy feel. I thought I’d get that with a v-twin Ducati and with SF and it ended up feeling like a rev happy engine still coming to life after 6-7k rpms (still lots of fun). I’ve an SP on order and for that price for a few more $$$s I am getting in the category of triump triples, s1000r etc. I just don’t find any of them as comfy as this but they’re all above the mt10 with performance. So I’m very confused lol..

@@ridewithjamal3356 ​Honestly: It feels a lot like the previous MT-10. The midrange is still very strong, maybe even better than before. It just feels a little bit more refined but it didn't loose any performance or character in my opinion. And I would not compare to much the figures but how you feel. I've heard people saying that the new Speed Tripple is to much focused on top end power in comparison with the old one and a journalist told me that he still prefers the MT-10 to the V4 streetfighter because the engine is just more usable in real life. It feels great to ride, really effortless, adrenaline-pumping fun - that's all I can say ;-)

where can i buy the new mt 10? i live near the rhein@ strasbourg. no one if the german shops have a mt10 here for a probe ride🤢🤢

Where is the top speed exactly? And damn Euro restrictions, that thing is struggling at 230 😂

It's not struggling, the straight in this track variation is just very short and I was a bit a pussy because of the rather bad track conditions '^^ It actually has more top end power than the Euro 4 version (+6 hp)

@@swissDragonrider this "has more HP than previous gen" jokes really has to stop at some point. Of course it does, cause they increased the CC in order to not LOSE HP after euro restrictions. It's not like they did us a favor. It's how it "feels" not what the numbers say. And they name it "smoother delivery" to justify the lost power... Fuck that, if I buy a liter bike I want to be holding on for dear life with a twist of my wrist.. companies and customers should be fighting these restrictions. That's not the way to save the Earth 😑 R6 is already out of the game and more will follow. when everything sounds like a toy RC car it will be too late for us.

@@kef1kef2kef3kef4kef5 The MT-10 is actually not CC up, they've changed many things in the engine to meet the regulations and at the same time found some performance. Plus you have now 4 riding modes to chose how this power should be delivered. Honestly, it does not feel all to different from the previous model. It's not that manufacturers are begging to make bikes more reasonable. There is a lot of pressure in the EU on these things and frankly, it's a fight which seems a bit impossible to win in the current climate. Luckily, even the EU5 MT-10 is far from sounding like a toy car. But I understand your worries...

@@swissDragonrider I stand corrected, thought they CC up it like the mt09. Anyway i agree, let's be realistic since there is not much we can do about it, everything is getting restricted slowly but surely. I am test riding the mt10 next week too, don't like the new front look but let's hope the driving experience changes my mind. Peace.

It would probably make a pretty significant differnece. But it has more than enough power as it is. Don't forget: The conditions were a bit sketchy here and I didn't want to push too hard with a bike that is not mine ;-)
