So did you only need to take the top two bolts out to get the front faring off , when you fumbled about taking them all off the back?

My son just bought one of these, 55 Reg. It was Stood a while, just had a new battery, fully charged it, fitted it, ran great, but after a while the battery drained so obviously its not charging, can't find any fuses, going to have to strip it to find them to see if its a fuse that's blown, if not its probably either the rectifier or stator. not looking forward to messing with it.

Sorry to hear it. Could also be a parasitic drain or a poor connection in the charging circuit. I hope you manage to get it sorted. Alas I don't have a video on the charging circuit (other than checking it) because it was fine on the scooter in this video.

@@AndrewFixes i'm thinking its the possible dead Regulator, we managed to get the front body apart and i can see the regulator bolted to the frame , i have a Multi meter, i went to go and test the Ac volts from the Engine and the Dc out, discovered the battery is dead in the meter and it takes a 9v PP3, so i'm going tot have to buy one before i can test. they're, dispit that issue a really good bike, very smooth and they have good power.

Any ideas why my tail light headlight and plate light isn’t working on my neos 1999 but indicators work ?

For anyone trying to open the inside fairing removing the hook is nessesery to remove it
