Its interesting that this portasound variant is still mainly analog (sound / generation is based on master VCO, there are multiple static filters, a real VCF for brass and guitar etc..) all resembling vintage Electone organs, after this one all that came later were all pretty much digital based.

Any luck? You may have to read the power information (voltage, polarity) and look for a matching cable.

Can you please tell me how you hooked up your portasound to your computer for recording? I used a cord plugged into my headphone jack, but it hasn't worked. Amazing video btw, your skills are very good!

Does your computer have a microphone port?

@@Inivican It has a jack which says that it can be used as either.

If you buy a audio interface or a mixer with usb connect to your pc then you can connect it to a line input and other things like microphones etc. You can download audicity for free and record. If you use ac adapter and power the audio interface with electricity from a real power socket then most will carry audio related CPU actions and a higher resolution audio in general because of its high bitrate

I have found the same one in my dads old stuff it works but from left to right only the first 8 keys work how do I get the other keys to work? Please help

Inside there is a red resistance for each key. The key not working means either u need to replace that resistance or clean the underneath rubber contact pad.
