@Penguindog55 Snap! I also bought my PSR-290 way back in December 2002, I got it Ex demo, it was my 4th Keyboard out of the 83 I have now, I thought it was a good feature that an entry level keyboard at that price range would have over 600 sounds! :) Thanks for watching!

after the psr262, the sound quality of yamahas sound for keyboards had changed. the chip that is used in this is from djx and psre403 413 423 unusual is that this sound chip is used in the djx because it sounded quite good for dance music

When I was 3 or 4 and 7 or 8 I use to listen to that tune just the way your are on that keyboard my nana had that keyboard Yamaha PSR 290 and i use to change the tempo to make it fast

This keyboard is exactly the same as the DGX-200, except that it only has 5 octaves instead of 6 that the DGX-200 has and the DGX-200 had a pitch bend wheel, I believe that the DGX-200 had a better speaker system as well.

I think that is worth it for a like new conditioned PSR-290 keyboard, get it if you can as its a good range of keyboard with over 600 sounds, 135 styles and 100 songs! Hope this helps you in deciding to get one :)

@musicmaniac1965 I didn't buy all of my keyboards on their year of release, doing so would've have been quite expensive lol. I can name a few that I got on their year of release such as this keyboard on this video, the Tyros 4 and the PSR-E413. All the other keyboards I got I started collecting them at certain times most of them being second hand and also I wouldn't have got them all in release dates as I started playing keyboard in 2002, 10 years ago:) Thanks for Watching Kind regards Michael

Hi, i would like to ask some professional advice on what keyboard/synthesizer should i buy? I am currently hooked up with home based music production. I have recently been stalking on the Roland Juno Gi. But as i watch some of your videos it seemed like you dont like Roland that much. Any advice? Those of the same price line as the juno Gi.
