I have very limited space and this keyboard seems like it could be the most efficient use of limited space! Not a fan of white rubber buttons that get dirty quickly, but that glass faux-grill is a straight up new age smokeshow!

Henry Akwetey Thanks Henry for watching :) You can use this keyboard as a controller (USB only). It will work as a plug-and-play device, but there is additional software available from Yamaha that will give you more functionality #Gearfacts

SO, I may be picking up one of these in a few days, in hopes to get a keyboard with some synth capabilities that most home keyboards lack.. when it comes to an EG, and resonance and other effects, can it all be individually tuned, and layered? Or are you forced to use it in set presets? I want this to more or less be able to recreate the intro chords to HOME - Resonance.. how would it handle that?

You can make effect setting and then save them for instant recall in one of the hundred or so user slots. Is that what you meant?

Hmm this was a while ago but no, I don't think there is a DSP on this one. Maybe just reverb and chorus.

Question, does this guy have a recorder button on?? etc can you record your own backing beats or chords?

Hey Jasmin, yes it has a record button which performs multi functions, including just straight-up recording of live play. Backing tacks work the same way. Hope that helps, thanks for watching Gearfacts :)
