YAMAHA PSS-680 - AGED 14 - "DILL" - Original Composition

My first ever composition ever. I have no idea why it's called "Dill". Everything was recorded live into the 5 sequencer tracks with no quantise or post-editing. I was (and still am) very proud of my creativity here. This is the result of hours and hours of trying to manipulate the synthesizer and practice triggering the functions of the keyboard whilst playing.
The 61-mini-key, Yamaha PSS-680 was a birthday present and my second keyboard ever (I still have one). The first keyboard I had was the 49-mini-key, CASIO MT-100, which I received as a Christmas present in 1985. The Casio did not have any recording function, but the Yamaha had a 5-track 'sequencer' and a basic synthesizer. Whilst I did not understand how synthesis worked back then, I was curious enough to work out what the buttons did to get the sounds I wanted.
Even after 36 years, this remains one of the most versatile and function-laden keyboards in its field. Whilst you can't get FAT sounds out of it, the FM synthesis provides tones and flavours to hi-tech synthesizer sounds - a topic for future videos perhaps.
