Its good as a fender because the japan company that made them were also making japan made fenders at the time.

@@rickygarcia5662 Close, but the physical Fujigen factory itself was actually purchased by the Fender Japan venture in 1983 (along with all of the unstamped inventory which was then branded by Fender used to make early JV Squiers?). I think the last Pulser 400 was '82. And I think all these old Fujigen basses were made by hand. May be finest production basses ever made anywhere in the world. I have 4 of my own, none of which would I trade for the "real thing".

Try ebay they don't make them anymore.This was like in the 70s and 80s.
If you have the money the fender but if not Yamaha is as good as they are made to copy the sound of the fender.

Es un lawswit de Yamaha que imitaba a los Fender PB de la época, cuando la demanda de Fender entro en vigor los dejaron de hacer para 1978, igual Ibáñez tenía los suyo, aunque en calidad Yamaha tenía mejor sonido tanto que mucho preferían comprar un Yamaha a un Fender, en mi caso tengo un Pbass americano y un pulser bass 600 yamaha del 75 y en lo personal me gusta más el sonido del Yamaha, en grabación prefiero el sonido del Yamaha es más profundo y limpio.
