Remember reading an article decades ago , basically detailing that motorcycle riders are on a death wish list, that the reason they wear black is to make themselves closer to death . I ride bikes and it’s always made me think why so many riders wear black , a colour that makes their bodies almost invisible to motorists from a distance . We all know that Fluro jackets are the safest colour for visibility , but the majority choose black jackets , black pants , black helmets , and dark or black bikes on the whole .
