I cant be Shure I was not there, but if you have bikes of this power it would not be a surprise to believe it, You can hit triple figures in 2nd quite easily, you have to understand I'm not doubting there ability, cant I was not with them, but with 2nd gear comes incredible engine breaking. If you watch say MotoGP riders/wsb/bsb riders on board cameras you get an idea of how this works.

Great ride, needless to say, otherwise I've mostly ridden my R1 on high gears/ low rpms except on mountains roads with loads of hairpins when low gears are required. On the contrary, he's riding low gears/ high rpms which puts more stress on the engine but this is how you learn to ride fast, I think I was being mindful and careful, that thing is a jet just at low gears !
