Unless there is yet another valve in the exhaust of newer Yamaha's the valve you mention is the EXUP valve. It's purpose is to increase power at low to midrange rpms and open up at higher rpms (that's why the sounds change). I really doubt that Yamaha would make the hassle to install it unless it's beneficial. Disabling it will most likely decrease your performance at low to midrange rpms even if it "sounds faster".

I love the bike brother!!! On a Ls3 street build, what bearings should I run? N/a. Stockish with a stock crank and Gen 4 rods. I've seen the HP and the XP series King bearings. And I'm still waiting for the new video for the short block 427. Gorgeous engine brother!!!

Same here in the netherlands. If im not mistaken the only legal full exhaust system is an eu approved system from akrapovic (as far as my knowledge goes). And they check it pretty often here, especially when its motorseason

Kannst bei vielen Tunern die auspufklappe auf einen beliebigen Knopf legen lassen. Die ist Software gesteuert. Bedeutet z.B. für die „Rennstrecke“;) doppelt den festgelegten Knopf drücken und schon geht die Klappe dauerhaft auf. Für die Straße wieder Doppelklick und die Klappe öffnet nach Serien kennfeld.

No, it doesn't matter. Might be slightly easier to reach some places if it is, but doesn't need to be. If you're doing headers too, yes, I would have it level on a stand though.

That is a 3/4 exhaust not a full system. A full system includes the headers as well.

2019 was the last year of the factory titanium headers 2020 forward was stainless. I have a 2021 it came with stainless.

It needs a remap when it's stock to be honest but just changing the exhaust and removing the CAT you shouldn't have any problems. Mine ran 14:1 in about 3 places along the RPM range and was still rich up top.

I have a 2020 and researched , couldn't find if R1 is titanium or not. I think they are stainless but the R1M is supposed to be Titanium. The gains for aftermarket headers are all in the mid range and no gains on top so I opted to no change mine
