Brakepads are 300 and 200rs respectively, can be brought outside showroom and deliver same performance and even last longer. Same can be said for engine oil, motul 300v costs 100rs more but is significantly better. Suzuki, Yamaha and Honda all use the same brake pads from Honda dazzler range to Yamaha R3. Its Allied Nippon for front and Ranz for rear. Both are japanese and with proper sourcing will cost around 120rs. each, but without contacts retail purchase is 300 approx. Somehow in India everyone is an engineer but no one actually understands engineering.
