Yamaha R3 wasn't BS4. It was BS3. So from the 1st of April it was discontinued. BS4 R3 will be launched around June according to some reports.

I have a yamaha r3 and its a beautiful bike. IMHO yamahas re leagues ahead of KTM. I've driven my r3 with rc 390, the topspeed of rc390 is limited to 174kmph.but the sixth gear of r3 never stops. I've clocked 193kmph in my r3. R3 will swallow rc390 from 135kmph.

Congrats R3. However, we can not ignore price difference of over 1 lakh rupees. :), lack of windscreen, fairing. It is not just the top speed which wins you competition. There are so many factors. Handling, Brakes, gear ratio.......It will be fair to have third trial on off road, track or ghat section :D

Check if you have to change the rear brake pads. Usually the screeching sound comes when the brake shoe gets depleted and the metal comes in direct contact with the disc plate.

Vikas.. dominar at the price point has am equal power of Duke on top end .. abs.. slipper clutch.. superb handling.. good headlamp... shouldn't it be a better package? I'm also considering RC 390 .. pls suggest

handling of Dominar is good but Duke has much better handling and feels lighter. Even the top end of Dominar isnt that strong as it has more speedo error than Duke so u might do the same no.s at top speed (162-165 kmhr) but still D390 will overtake as R3 does in this video. RC is in different category as its only for track, weekend rides or showing off. Domi is best VFM bike but if u have the money for D390, thr is no point thinking.

Its a freindly race!Things get very different in race track!Having more power is not an advantage in straight typical highway.If you want to see the real power of the duke 390 come to Khopoli(about 68 km from Mumbai) and bring any motor cycle you think that deserves a "REAL"test.Peace from Goregaon night riders XD XD.
