Thank you so much for the guide! I bought the whole R6 OEM throttle/grip assembly for $25 so I don't have to deal with the hassles of taking off and putting on the grip. Off to watch your Yoshimura R77 video and installing it myself next!

Nice dude, glad they have helped out. As for the levers I had to drill mine out to get them to work so I would recommend them. ASV has a few good sets for the r7

Is the R6 tube pull way shorter than the R7 one ? Because it is super annoying to have such a long pull on the R7 tube

I can get it to WOT pretty easy now, I wish I would have measured it. I didn't remember until I had the tube off I was going to measure

I’ve heard the motion pro R6 throttle tube isn’t that different than the stock R7 throttle tube throw, I put the OEM R6 tube on and man what a difference!

Interesting, they did look really similar I thought I got the wrong one but when I measured it with a vernier caliper it was different by 1mm each side and feels much different the. The stock tube did so maybe a stock r6 tube is different but this works 🤷🏻‍♂️

Did you have some slack after installing the R6 one or was it stuck and you had to to some changes to the throttle adjuster ?

@@Gino.R7 it was stuck but a little adjust at the base of the clutch lever should do the trick, if it’s still sticking check the clutch cables on right side of the bike and adjust those !

@@aminogaming8469 thanks for answering man, what exactly do you mean with base at the clutch lever ? Shouldn’t it be something around the break lever on the right, where the adjuster for the slack for the throttle is ?

Yea you still get full power at wide open, it's just shorter distance of turn to get to wide open
