I'm confused by the conclusion of this video, it seems backwards and counter intuitive. Setting aside the ergo's like clip on height (because that can be easily adjusted to suit rider preference) and focusing on the actual bike, wouldn't the low end torque of the R7 make it the better street bike because it provides more usable power at normal street legal speeds. Whereas the ZX4 with all it's power in the top 30% of the revs would favour track riding, because on the track you can keep it in the sweet spot and you never really go slow enough to worry that the ZX4 is so lacking down low? It's the same reason why the engine characteristics of 600's favour the track environment while bikes like the MT09 (which make similar HP to 600's) are more usable and enjoyable on the street.
@TrizerFlameАй бұрын
It’s because of the ergo they feel like the R7 is more track. It’s more planted for what you do on track. Not saying the zx4rr isn’t a more track oriented (and capable) ninja 400.

Neither. CBR600RR,R6,GSXR600,ZX-6R. The older models are preferable. 2003's-2010's. When quality was actually strived for and engines were made to last half a mill. When sportsbikes were actual sportsbikes. Great torque, high rev range, stupid good powerband and uncomfortable af. Though the ZX4RR is the actual closest thing you'll get to one with a small displacement 4cyl engine. R7's, R800's, Ninja650's.... are all sport touring motorcycles with 2cyl. Low rev range, strong torque in lows and high clip-on position. They got no business in being called sportsbikes just because they got fairings...
