I have a 2021 kawasaki zx14r, and I still bought a 2024 zx4rr 40th anniversary as my primary bike. There is nothing like a 4 cylinder small displacement motorcycle. Every other manufacturer has a 2 cylinder 700sh cc motorcycle. I like the high revving 4 cylinders. I will go weeks without using the 1441cc zx14r and only using the 399cc zx4rr. I love the difference in power from one to another and the difference in handling. I could not decide which one I like better. I’m just glad I have both.

Love my 4RR so much that I bought another... wanted the anniversary edition. To me, its an amazing lil bike. A 5.5 wheel and 180 tire actually fits. Im planning to do this on my anniversary edition. Now I have other bikes so the 4RRs are perfect daily riders... i also have a ZX6R, ZX10R, and an R1. I dont really mind the prices as its a pretty exclusive lil bike being the only inline 4 in its class...guess a class by itself. Enjoyed the content.

The main problem with it sounding so good is that you're shifting and revving so much that it's loud 100% of the time which can get annoying. I'm confused by the conclusion of this video, it seems backwards and counter intuitive. Setting aside the ergo's like clip on height (because that can be easily adjusted to suit rider preference) and focusing on the actual bike, wouldn't the low end torque of the R7 make it the better street bike because it provides more usable power at normal street legal speeds. Whereas the ZX4 with all it's power in the top 30% of the revs would favour track riding, because on the track you can keep it in the sweet spot and you never really go slow enough to worry that the ZX4 is so lacking down low? It's the same reason why the engine characteristics of 600's favour the track environment while bikes like the MT09 (which make similar HP to 600's) are more usable and enjoyable on the street.
@TrizerFlame4 ай бұрын
It’s because of the ergo they feel like the R7 is more track. It’s more planted for what you do on track. Not saying the zx4rr isn’t a more track oriented (and capable) ninja 400.
