Nice upgrade Rick...nerfbars definitely take a thrashing in XC racing...These ones you have look nicer than I thought from seeing pics on eBay and such...The Blue powdered with blue nets looks really sharp! I am debating on a new set myself here soon on my 2017 700 ...the pro armour I had bought used over a year ago and have seen better days. Keep us posted on how you like them after a couple rides. Cheers from Ont Canada Rick

Thanks Kevin. Yeah I have raced at least half a season with these last year, just now getting the video out. Despite just smashing them into trees, even the powder coat held up. Was nervous about getting some of the cheaper ones out there because of the abuse, these ones cost a little more but hold up well.

@@Team2Gils so the footpegs are same ride hight than stock foot pegs but with better ground clearance on the tubbing of the nerf bars? I was looking to have some wider and extended footpegs but with also lower than stockfootpegs to have the center of gravity as low as possible on fast cornering. Another question is: Did you feel any difference good or bad having a wider and longer footpegs than the stock? Thank you! I allways appreciate a lot your Raptor content in you your channel.
@Team2Gils3 жыл бұрын
@@yxiscatti the height of the pegs are about stock height, no difference that i could tell. The longer length of them gives you more foot room and does help with cornering. I have to remember to use the extra length as I find i keep my feet crammed in. The upsweep up the bars gives much better ground clearance but I was not having any issues with the other ones, but more clearance is a good thing. They are very strong bars, I have crammed them into trees in every race.

Thanks for the review! I ordered some a week ago and there gonna take a while to get here, 3 weeks so im just realizing. Smh lol but from your video it seems they will be worth the wait! You still enjoying them!?
@Team2GilsАй бұрын
They are great bars. I abused them hard for 3 years and they worked great. I ended up getting out of racing this year and recently sold the quad.
@TerrellSpiveyАй бұрын
@Team2Gils glad to hear your testimonial that they were good! And oh man! So you actually used to race like on the mx track with it!? I don't mean to sound rude, but you seem to be up in age!
@Team2GilsАй бұрын
@TerrellSpivey raced cross country gncc, which is as fast as you can go through the trees. I used to ram the bars into the trees to kick the back end out for faster turns. Again, abused! Yeah, got a late start in racing and am finally having to call it quits. Had a ton of fun though!
@TerrellSpiveyАй бұрын
@Team2Gils oh wow! Ok then! I've never seen that kind of racing before! Sounds interesting! Maybe something I could handle better than a mx track! Lol of course I don't really want parts of either lol I just like to trail ride! Which I guess at times is similar to what you're referring to because it gets fast paced thru trees sometimes! But man, hate you had to call it quits and sold the Raptor! How old are ya if you don't mind me asking!?
@Team2GilsАй бұрын
@TerrellSpivey I am 59. Yeah, xc racing is like trail riding but competitive. It is super fun. I have videos out there of it and videos on how to get started and how to get your quad ready. Very addictive once you try one.

I have a 2020 raptor 700 been wanting these nerf bars I've notice some if the nerf bars have 2 places for the holes going to the fender is there a difference I see your set only has 1?
@Team2Gils3 жыл бұрын
Not sure why they would have 2 holes as there is only 1 in the fender. Maybe they are designed to fit more than 1 bike or something. These fit good and work great.

Not had any issues with them. Other than the paint getting scratched off from hitting trees, they still in great shape.

Hey buddy what's going on how you doing just have a quick question on your ghost be Wheels the lug nuts that you have did you trust them or are de very reliable or do you have to tie them up each time to check if they're loose please let me know thank you very much I appreciate it
@Team2Gils3 жыл бұрын
Hey Ismael, are you asking about my lugnuts on my wheel? If so, yes, I trust them. It is important to tighten then down evenly and torque them properly. Then after a ride, re-torque them and they should be good.

What’s the trick to getting that nut/washer combination off on right side break lever. Does it just pop off or what?
@Team2Gils3 жыл бұрын
Yes once the foot Peg bolts are out, brake pedal should slide off, after disconnecting spring and clevis. It goes over a bushing but should slide right off.

@@conniestevenson226 I would think these would last a fair bit. Teeth are pretty long. I would say there is plenty of rook to re-file new teeth if necessary.
