I know it’s a long time ago now but do you remember where you got these bars from? I’ve got a candy blue mk1 that just needs some decent bars that are a bit wider for handling .

They where from eBay made bike handle better and feel better didn’t cost much at time I typed in chrome flat bars and it brings them up

You think it's the camera! they go like stink that's why they are so rare...17 year old kids getting hold of these rockets was probably not the best idea!!! even of todays standard these things will whip most modern bikes up to 400cc, put a micron or allspeed on them and a bit of jetting-hold tight once 7000rpm kicks in as you can see from Trays video, and they did a ypvs version woosh even more mental power. Nice riding mate you got some great roads

I have an RD125 LC (and a 350!) so I know very well how fast they run. =) I'm just saying the fisheye lense on the camera makes it look faster than it actually is. Compare this video with my RD125 LC video (normal lense) and you'll see what a massive difference a fisheye lense does. My RD is not slower than any other RD's out there. It does about 130 km/h, a bit more if you tuck in and really push the engines limits.

agreed with all the ypvs was first show cased on the mk3 model , prior to then being on the tzr afterwards unless of course like most were back in the day , "pinned open " instead of having a servo etc , currently building a tzr on my channel check it out . as fo this vid stews giving it some beans good man !

It's the fisheye camera lens making it look fast. Check out my video with a standard type of lens and you'll see how slow they actually are. ;)

@@Kanjostewhew just stuck on buying one of these or a DTR 125. Have you rode both these bikes and how to they compare. I love both from back in my day. I know they share the same engine but different gearing I think. ?? Will one be quicker than the other or both the same. Love your bike by the way. 👍👍👍
@Kanjostewhew4 жыл бұрын
Gary Stratton the dtr is a good bike the engines are faster in the later models it’s what my Sachs has in you put a 4dl tzr cdi on and they go like shit off a stick the lc looks cooler, personally I would go for a tzr

I had this bike on the dyno and for a 31 year old 125 2stroke standard bore it has 19.8 BHP at the wheel it does 95mph flat out due to gearing and I shal upload dyno video now
