Ah, its the old story im afraid. ' I had one of those when i was in my teens". Lovely sound. I was forever wheelying the thing whenever i'd got a passenger on the back. Much like a suzuki gt 250 i used to have. Keep up the good work finding these gems.👍

Mine was that exact model in silver, The powerband kicked in at 6000 rpm and it really give a kick in acceleration. My first 'real' bike in 1977 after pottering around on my Honda ss50 moped for a year.

Ah yes...the SS50. Quite a change. You'd have thought the natural progression would have been to a Super Dream... I never had an RD250 but it would have been nice. My friend had an RD250DX and it was quite something, back in the day.

@@MotorcycleFettlers I had a budget of £500 when I went shopping for a 250, Had the RD offered to me from a friend for a very good price (£350). Several years later I did buy a Honda 250T Dream, the 'American' styling with massive seat and round tank. Much nicer styling than the 'european' 250N Superdream :)

I like the Dream 250T. I think it was only on sale for a couple of years. We did a quick walk around and ride out of the 250 Hondamatic a couple of weeks ago. Interesting...

You can't beat a two-stroke and this is one ofthe best. I prefer slight styling change of the DX.

​@@MotorcycleFettlers If Today in Inida it will lunch then it could see huge sales. Unfortunately, most bikes in India these days look like aliens! :D :D :D there is no pure class bike like hondaCB550 Four and CB750 Four.
