I have a 2014 Yamaha Viking that I believe the pinion has went out in. The rack looks very similarly designed to the one in this video. How hard would it be to remove and replace the pinion in it myself? How hard is it to get the rack and everything centered for reinstallation? Any tips or advice would be appreciated! I’ve never messed with anything steering related before.

Do you remember what o.d pipe you used?

John Turner Good question! I dont’t remember but this was standard piping in a hardware store. Best guess it was 3/4 “ or 1”.
