The seqtrack is a major step back in grooveboxes when compared to the rm1x and rs7000 and even the qy range.

had one for a little bit. the MIDI echo is crazy fun! was going to load MIDI files from Ableton onto it via floppy but never got that far. sequencer is deep!

Isobutanes rm1x tracks are so nice. Been eyeing that same one.

Had one of these about 20 years ago it was a lot of fun. Think about getting another one sometimes. Be sure to check out the midi delay on this for nice synced snare rush effects, still trying to replicate this effect to this day in modern DAWs can't quite get the same result.

I always think ,old gear that looks brand spanking new must have broke early on .. put back in the box and never touched, hence..looking like new. ..its possible?

As for this device, it has an internal testing process that is easy and you would know on day 1 if it wasn't working. But the switches inside are known for getting corrosion in them over the years and that is quite common with these. If someone is determined to have this machine, they can pay to replace the switches and most likely nothing else is ever wrong with these. Maybe with very heavy use the display eventually goes bad but this is rare and the display can be replaced.

Ohohooooooo CONGRATS!!! By the way, my original power supply is long lost and I'm using a 12V 2A random cheapo adapter that has been working for years now. Hope you're going to have fun with this!

Yeah my Digitakt adapter worked great for it until the other one came but the RM1x doesn't work and I made another video about it.

You can connect a Seqtrak to the RM1x ;) and use the better sound engines of the Seqtrak with the awesome sequencer of the RM1x.

Sequencer is non functional because most of the buttons are bad. I do have a SeqTrak on order though they have not hit the US market yet.

It didn’t work right. Yamaha sent me a Seqtrak for free though and I did a review of it.
